Whether you are going travelling in an RV, camping in a remote area where there is no power, live in an area with many power outages, or simply on the move, the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system will provide you with electrical power anywhere under the sun.

The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system takes the energy from the sun, converts it into electricity and stores it into the battery. When the electrical power is required, the electricity is supplied directly from the battery. The solar panels provided are used to keep the battery charged. If there is no sun available, the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system can be plugged directly into a 120 V AC outlet to recharge the battery (except Model SLGAA051).

The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system is portable, compact and can be taken anywhere. The retractable handle and foldable solar panels allow it to fit in almost any vehicle. The 6 inch wheels allow you to move the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system from place to place with ease.

Compared to a gas generator, the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system is quiet, no handling and/or storing of fuel is required and it creates zero gas emissions. The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Powered Generator system comes complete with the generator and solar panels for charging. (the battery not included). It can be used for most electronics and household appliances such as lap tops, radios, televisions, mobile phones, lights, etc..

You can use a maximum continuous power of 600 W and 1000 W respectively. The amount of power available is dependent on the size of the storage battery and the amount of electricity the device(s) needs to operate.

Is it easy to transport?

The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system is compact, portable and easy to store. It is equipped with a retractable handle, two 6” wheels and foldable solar panels. The retractable handle and wheels allow you to maneuver the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system from place to place with very little effort. The retractable handle and folding solar panels also allow the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system to fit into the trunk of any vehicle. These solar panels can be un-folded and have a kick stand to set them at any angle to the sun when you are charging your battery.

Can you expand your KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Powered Generator system?

The minimum capacity of a Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system is 600 W with a single 50 W solar panel and a group U1 battery (32 Ah). This system can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 1000 W with a solar array of 150 W (three 50 W panels) and a Group 31 battery (105 Ah).

How do I know when the battery needs charging?

At the top of the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system. There is a light system which indicates when the battery is full or when it needs charging. When the battery is full, the battery indicator light will be green. When the battery is discharged and needs charging, the light indicator will turn red.

How do you charge the battery?

There are 2 ways to charge your battery:

• Connect the solar panel(s) to the connectors on the generator. Once there is sufficient daylight the solar panels will begin to charge the battery. You will know when there is sufficient daylight when the indicator light on the controller shows a solid green light. When there is insufficient daylight, the indicator light will be shut off.
• Plug the generator directly into a 120 V AC outlet (if equipped). The battery will receive its energy through the outlet until it is fully charged. Once the battery is fully charged, the green light on the controller will be on solid and the battery will stop charging.

Are batteries included?

Batteries are NOT included with the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system.

What types of batteries do you recommend and what size?

We recommend using an AGM Deep cycle battery. The size of the battery depends on your power demands. The more power you need and longer operation times require a bigger battery.

What types of outputs does the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system have?

The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system has both a 120 V AC and 12 V DC output. You can plug in any 120 V AC devices that are rated below the capacity of the system. You can plug any 12 V DC devices to the system up to a rating of 10 a.

Does the KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system have any safety features?

The KOZI Go Anywhere^TM Solar Portable Powered Generator system is equipped with several safety features:

• When charging the battery with the solar panels, a controller monitors the battery levels. When the battery is fully charged, the controller will cut off the charging from the solar panels and only charge the panels when the battery needs it. When charging with a power outlet, the system will stop charging when the battery has reached full capacity.
• There are a couple of safety features to prevent over-discharge on the battery. When using a 120 V AC device, the inverter will shut the device off when the battery hits 10 V. You will also hear an audible alarm when the battery is reaching this level. When using a 12 V DC device, the controller will cut off power to the device when the battery level reaches 10 V. There will be no audible alarm when using a 12 V DC device.
• When using a 120 V AC device, the inverter is protected with a fuse. If the devices need power higher than the maximum capacity of the system, the fuse will blow. When using 12 V DC devices, there is an external fuse that will blow if the device needs more than the maximum capacity of the system.
